I have been reading tons of threads here. I have been wanting chickens for as long as I can remember. I am now 41 and finally have a place to call home where I can have them. I did make a purchase of 12 hens of sex links for $2 ea. I ended up with I believe 11 hens and 3 roosters for $20. I just hope they all get along. I still have to build a coop but am getting a great idea as to what I want from all the different coop designs out there. They are 11 days old now and when I get to building the coop I will be sure to take pics. This is an exciting new adventure for me and I am excited I just hope all the roosters and hens will get along. Well anyway just wanted to say HI!!! am off to find answers to my questions.
