Just wanted to know

in my family, all the "older" women put cold water in the biggest pickle jar with the label off. put a few tea bags in it and a slice of lemon or orange or 2 and put it in the sun for a few hours. then they add sugar when they go to pour. very good.

I use Truvia, which is a brand name of sweetener made from stevia.

I won't touch splenda after I was sick for five days with GI problems after having some tea sweetened with it at my sister's house. I keep the truvia on hand for those rare occasions when I want a glass of sweet tea. DH thinks my unsweetened tea tastes like something that comes from a horse, I won't be more specific than that.
