(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Newbie for the most part… we had them on the farm when I was a kid.

(3) What breeds do you have? Cochin and Silkies
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I adore their personalities and enjoy them immensely.

Gardening, crafts.

I’m an at home caregiver for a blind gentleman. Mother of two. We also have ducks, bunnies, snakes, lizards, lovebirds, parakeets, cats, and a dog

Every time I need help, BYC comes up. I value everyone’s insight and knowledge.
