A while back, I mentioned anime or manga *one time* in a thread on BYC, and my ads immediately started reflecting that. It's definitely not random. And it might even be possible to get ads that someone else in your household is interested in. My boyfriend was researching sawmills and I started getting sawmill ads...on my phone.
