just wanted to share my new chick pics

these are my day old chicks that a friend down the road hatched from my eggs for me. (more on the way next week)

pic of mum(s) & dad(S) the dads are mutts one female is a scruffy leghorn and i cant remember what breed the other female is.

also i had a couple of silkies from her, she bought these as day olds from a young girl that hatched them from her own silkies, they were supposed to be blue.
i dont know how silkie colouring works, do they gain there colour as they grow or are they supposed to hatch out as there main colour?

not that it matters, i just think the blue ones look great.
