Just washed hens poopy butt, way to end the year!

So today I noticed that one of my hens had poo all over her hind end. I couldn't stand to leave her that way, so just washed her bottom in the laundry room sink. Never thought I'd be doing something like that! Way to end the year and fingers crossed she'll be back to normal tomorrow!!

She might not appreciate her hen spa but what a good owner she has! A clean start for the new year.

I have given a number of chicken baths for the very same reason.
