Yes, our birds are fine and I am fine. It is just upsetting to me wondering how long the birds went without water will this snake had a dip in a cool pool of water and of course...Are there more?

Yeah snakes are nasty. They scare the hubby more then myself, but I still want to hide when I see them.

Imagine my surprise when I shone the light in the back of the cabinet incubator to look for chicks and found a snake had already eaten three quail eggs , one chick, and was eating another chick!!??!! I did take the chick out of the snakes mouth and relocated the snake to a wildlife reserve. The chick was unharmed!
