Just when I was worrying my chickens didn't have enough room :)

I needn't have worried about our 6 chickens feeling crowded in our bathroom - I just checked on them in their coop and they're all comfortably stuffed together in a single nesting box! Chickens are full of surprises

I have 4 10 ft roost in my coop and every body wants to sleep on one roost . It gets a little crowded with 29 chickens all trying to squeeze in a 10 ft area but they still try every nite.

My girls spent their first night in their coop last night and sure enough when I peaked in at them they were also all crammed into one nesting box, yep all 4 of them.

Well, they sure keep warm being that crowded!

I have a coop with six nesting boxes in it, and currently have three broodies sitting on nothing but each other (no eggs) all day and all night, all in one nesting box.

I went out to check on the 3 momma hens and all 3 where in one nest box with all 6 of their chicks.
