Anyhow, i did give the remaining two eggs to a broody in a different pen. Well, three eggs, actually. One of the pecked ones had a fairly new and small break in the end, so i put a piece of tape over it. i don't hold out much hope for it. Then, walking past that pen a while back i saw the broody moved to sit on a different egg in another next box. Sheesh. The eggs weren't stone cold, but not warm. i think this whole batch is a lost cause.
i'm just wondering who the pecker is.
