Just won on Ebay!!!~~~~Update~~~~

They are standard. They are on the ALBC critical list. From what I can read about them, they appear to be wonderful ducks. So far I have 6 hatched, 3 eggs left unpipped, and one dead in shell. One of the hatched ones is not doing to well. I think maybe he came out a little too soon. His "belly button" is extroverted but the yolk sac is absorbed so I guess time will tell.

love_a_duck~ I thought my avatar was too funny too when I first seen it. Thank you.

All three of my ducks that hatched inside had there belly buttons open and they all did great. Just make sure they are in a clean area and they should be fine.

I took all the others out of the bator (they were dry) and left him in. He's not moved since he came out of the shell a couple of hours ago. The humidity is good as well as the temp. I'm just letting him rest and hoping for the best.

Well the baby finally seperated from his egg and he's sleeping on his belly. I think that is a good sign that he seperated from hid umbilical cord. Go baby Go
