Aloha all!

Thanks for the add!
Here is my mini intro
Hubby and I moved from Hawaii to the farmlands of Idaho several years ago. Hubby right away started raising chickens, various breeds, Ancona ducks and pilgrim geese (baaaaad move - no longer have them). Our flocks have always been pretty healthy, but the numbers always fluctuated, due to intruders on the property. We have build taller fences and have watched guard when we let them out....but it’s never enough. Just got attacked again on Christmas Day.

On the bright her side we always have a good supply of eggs!

Hi! Welcome to BYC! So sorry for all the losses! May I suggest a visit to our Coop & Run forum for some ideas on predator proofing yours? Many people have had trouble with predators until they figured out how to keep them safe. It's just too heartbreaking to lose them, isn't it?

Perhaps you need to look into some game cameras (they are not too pricey) or even a guard llama! Llamas are good protectors. They pair nicely with goats too!

I am so sorry for your losses. Predators are brutal. You may need to keep them in a large run and supervise free ranging.
