Justleesa and Turtlegent here

Thanks for the welcome and the tips! Will pass them on to hubby (the do-we of our duo)
:welcome Perhaps you need to look into some game cameras (they are not too pricey) or even a guard llama! :thumbsup Llamas are good protectors. They pair nicely with goats too!
Good luck with predator proofing, and please share photos when you get a chance.

Aloha!

Hubby had family ties in Idaho and at the time we bought the buying was good. We have 4 acres of field and just use it as a buffer to keep the neighbors at a distance. After living on crowded Oahu, it’s nice to not know all your neighbors business. Lol.
Hubby is originally from WA and I’ve lived all over the place (US and Europe), so we knew winter. This year, so far it’s been mild. For the most part, if I’m not out long, I’m only wearing my sweater.

Aloha a hui hou to you too! s
Aloha nui loa!
Wow big, brave move. How's it going?!! Would love photos of your new farm. Is this your first winter and have you ever been to cold country B4? Why Idaho and what is your plan?!! Most exciting!!!
Say warm and well, A hui hou, L.
