In the doctors office, I was once given a shot of Imitrex – had a violent reaction and wished I could die – turns out I am allergic to it. Rather have another broken finger (or three toes, heck even the migraine I had) than another shot of that stuff.

OT - Yeah, I used to work for a doctor that insisted I take a shot of imitrex rather than go home sick from work with a migraine. Ended up in the ER when my blood pressue plummeted down to next to nothing. Imitrex is supposed to raise the BP in some people, but I'm not some people. I know exactly how you felt.

Glad to hear you got him diagnosed and got the aspirin allergy into his medical record. As someone pointed out, pepto has aspirin in it, so avoid using that in the future for him.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad you had him checked out. My old girl, Spook, broke one of her toes when a nail got caught in some decking. I heard it pop. He'll be fine now! Spook went on to play frisbee for another 5 years after doing it.



We couldn't use the "Collar of Shame" Being deaf, she is very sensitive to things that come up from being her and was running into walls in a panic. We used a Cervical Collar. It stopped her from getting her head around to her spay stitches (after she ended up with an infection for messing with them $$$) She wasn't much to happy with me though.

Can you say stink-eye?!
