Well, the girls have made a new dust bath location, right at the foot of the back door porch steps. I guess it felt right to them.

I think its where they find their IDEAL DUST MEDIUM.
Mine have a few spots, depending on conditions.. (conditions like wet or dry mainly). Fire-pit,,,, #1 choice. Dry soil under trailer,,,,, #2.. I have seen them choose my empty, dry, large flower pots that were still empty in early spring. They seem to like much, potting soil by their choosing.
So I thought I would treat them. Got this large square tub.

Got a bag of potting soil, and filled tub with it. Tub was placed in a dry spot in run area.
Guess what,,,,,,,,they snubbed me,, and did not use it.
