We had one that little get pregnant from our buck who became spiderman overnight! Climbed a fence (wire), another fence (wooden), and then another fence (wire) to get to her. I guess it just goes to show that where there is a will, there is a way!

We have to actually take her to the vet for a C-section because she just had one LARGE kid, no way she was going to birth it.

MissPrissy, since you don't know what kind of buck got to your girl is it possible that she might have a huge baby in there and may need a c-section too. Is there a way to feel how many babies she is carrying? Oh, I hope she has tiny little twins!

No, the vet couldn't tell either by feeling.

It is all under control. When she goes into labor I call the vet and they come do a tailgate C-section. This plan has been in place for over a month. The issue is WHEN will it finally happen!

I hope that I don't have the same problem that you have. Little Hadassa is getting to be big Hadassa. Although she should have been bred by a Nigi buck, we thought she was non-fertile due to her age and an in-breeding issue from a previous owner. She is going on 2 years old and never had a baby and has always been in the pen with a buck. Hadassa is at best 13 inches to her wethers..... If she is pregnant I am sending her to Angie to board so she can get world class vet treatment!
