I would have thought the vet would have known if it was rumen bloat. Plus, lasting this long and her still alive?

How long is a pregnancy for a goat? This thread was started 2/21.

She already looked full term in December and a goat's pregnancy is 5 months.
I hope there are just a lot of late kids in there just waiting to pop out

They got her September 25th and had trouble keeping her in the first two weeks they had her. Five months(Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb) would put it at Feb. 25, if she got bred right away. Mid-March if bred later in the 2 weeks. Miss P, are you sure she didn't get out after those first two weeks?

Or maybe there's a rogue buck that can jump/climb fences? Either ways there's gotta be kids soon!

We hope so anyway. That poor goat has got to be really uncomfortable!

If it is Rumen Bloat would the goat be in serious distress by now? The link Dixygirl provided a good picture of a goat with bloat and it does look like Cocoa with the left side raised.
