I tried to get all of them strutting in one picture, but Zakk was straight not going to cooperate with me. I got one of her almost puffed out, but she just wouldn't strut long enough to get a picture. I walked out this morning to all of my transgender hen turkeys spitting and drumming. Every single one of my six turkeys were strutting their stuff

And the poult that gobbled (2 times) the other one was strutting too, but she couldn't hold the position very long

The little one has me very confused. I'm hoping for a hen, but I don't know any more. Ever since I got my turks I have learned that everything I ever thought about turkey behavior is more than likely wrong. I have learned so much. Jacobs mother was a bearded hen and I thought that was a crazy thing. And then I got the bronze hens. My view of turkeys has forever changed

I think both of your slates are looking like toms now.

They look like toms to me too. Remember, hens will have feathers up their necks and on top of their heads. Toms are bald. Also hens will have a light edging to their chest feathers, tom don't. And as you know, hens can have beards!

I've been afraid of that for a while now :/ I will have to do something with one of them. The smallest one is getting kind of bullied. By all the other turkeys, even the hens

Why won't my turkeys use the shelter?? Why must they roost on a boat out in the weather?!?
