I suppose with 70 Muscovy ducks and more on the way, you're probably thinking that I already do breed Muscovies.
Well, I do in a way, but, my point is that I want to be able to actually have more control over them and breed them for certain traits. I also want experiment with the different colors and see how they work together.
I get what your saying. One of my end goals is to be a reputable breeder of fowl. I've got a long way to go, but I'm used to hobbies that take a long time.

Are the Muscovy the only breed you want to work with? I don't have any (yet) but everyone seems to really love them.

Yeah, for the most part, but maybe Khaki Campbells, too! Muscovies are just absolutely wonderful, I'm sure if you ever get them you'll fall in love with them!

I'm sure I would. We have a lot in the area. Each one is so unique looking.
:love

I'm dead set on being a large quality breeder of d'Uccles.
That's awesome Cyprus.

Im not sure what breeds I'd like to work with, but preservation has always interested me with plant breeding. So far, that's kind of thte plan with the fowl too.

Oh yeah, that's right, you have lots of Muscovies there in Florida, don't you!
Yeah, there's a couple hundred just a mile away. They've pretty much took over a neighborhood with a big lake in the middle of it. The folks that live there seems to enjoy them.
