Is your henhouse secure?
I use locks on all access points to my coop.

Dog kennel gate closes the run, stop sign covers pop door (but wasn't up that night ) , heavy bricks block bottom of door in barn, were not disturbed.
My barn is kind of a crap show. Too big to fix, too broken to really be used....

I had a nightmare last night about my missing hen....
An unidentified something took her out of the nest box.

Odd, because I can't get a chicken out the nest box easy. So what did?

I wonder if maybe she left the coop yesterday or Friday and got taken. But there was 6+ inches of snow so I couldn't track a thing.



I want a broody so bad, but it seems that broody spells are a death sentence here this is the second broody I've lost.
