One of my chickens went broody last summer, and it made two others go broody. I have a pic of them all crammed in the nest box together. XD

I have seventeen broodies at once last summer. It was probably 80% of my adult hens .

I only let two of last year's girls hatch, and that was enough.

Yes she’s a Bantam. A rescue Bantam at that. Her daughter is bigger than her because the man I got the eggs from had a Silkie covering large fowl hens.

I've got a rescue banty with kids way bigger than her.
She's got...great-great-great grandkids now.
She's built a dynasty in the mere three years I've had her.

I think she’s an Old English Game Bantam x Sebright as she has a rose comb.
I assume Charlotte will go broody again in the spring and I’ll let her hatch chicks again.
