You can use my screen name Cyprus. It'll be much easier for me to know you're talking to me then, as my brother will be tagging along. I'll be sure he's walking around or something because you know how siblings are :p
My mom is overprotective so she'll tag along, even though it's a poultry swap where you are crowded in and I actually have supervised our birds all by myself at before, lol.

Sounds good. I've sold at swaps before, too. The most danger to ever happen was 3 escaped pigeons chased by fishing nets :lau

Well, my uncle came by just because- he looked at my chickens and stuff. Then he saw her and said “Kayla, this hen looks old and her egg sack seems to have dropped” this tends to happen to older hens (in his experience). He said she should be fine, but likely wouldn’t lay or laying might cause damage. He said the best thing to do was to sell her on Friday, but also leaving a note so the new owners won’t be as disappointed as I am. :hmm Mom (after finding that out) won’t allow me to keep her. :(

Of course I really don’t know what he meant by “egg sack dropped”, but her bottom does look swollen. She isn’t in any obvious pain or anything. I’ll be sad to see her go.

Oh once I was selling and our screaming rooster escaped. Everyone surrounded it. He screamed really loud when we caught him. It was embarrassing, but we still managed to sell him.

He may be saying that she has a bit of a prolapsed vent. Any idea on how old the Ameraucanas are?
