I forgot another bantam. I had a Phoenix bantam rooster once.
And a Cubalaya bantam. No. I think someone got one from the 4-H hatch thinking it was a Buckeye of mine.
Was it a bantam? I think so.
Oh I also had that LF Crevecour however that's spelled once.

@Cyprus, what would you call this cockerel’s color variety? Crele? Mixed color? :idunno

My 4-H poultry leader is the unusual sort of man of few birds. And the few he has he tries to force on me. -nuuuu let me stay with my low-maintenance breeds-
The only breeds he raises are bantam Buttercup, Crevecoer, and Dexter cattle.
At the swap he somehow managed to smuggle two Buttercup chicks onto me, and one Creve pullet. I said it would only last a day, because our flock was ravaged with disease at the time and I really shouldn't have been at the swap, it was that bad. I was wrong of course. The Creve actually survived two days. Wow!
Amazing wonders!
Actually, one of the Buttercup bantam chicks survived and is producing eggs to this day.
But we still struggled to prevent her comb from succumbing to frostbite.

Crele hysterical mottled.
It's hard to tell if there actually is a duckwing base because of all the white, but for these purposes I think we can safely call him crele (hysterical mottled.)
Thank you! Hysterical mottled? Is that an actual thing or did you come up with it?
