Sooo, how are your chickens doing?
They're all quite happy. The bakers dozen boys are all starting to crow. This is the most recent pic I have of them.

Not all of them obviously. They're getting big. Today is lockdown day for my eggs but I've not had a chance to candle them yet. Hopefully the dehumidifier running has helped get the aircells smaller.

I'm thinking elastic around the bottom, to kind of wrap onto the base of the comb.
Huh, that might work. I can knit. I should try to come up with something and see if it'll work. I have cold enough winters to test it too. Just need some adult birds.

That'd be great, if you could test it! We only get down to -30°F at absolute lowest.
