Am I just going insane? Am I missing something?

Idk what the problem is but apparently by my taking the other side of a debate, I am FLAMING a person on the other side.

It is a question of gender. Therefore, there are only 2 possible answers. One has to be one or the other side. And people can argue the opposite. That doesn't mean I'm flaming someone of the other option when I am presenting evidence against the other option as a whole.
