Me thinks that Charlotte was the mom and, with dad being lavender something, chick inherited only 1 copy of lav and thus is black based.

Second chick is prob lav something. Unless you have a white bird.

Thanks! I hope they pan out well. They're going to need to haul their weight after all the effort I've put into just getting them this far.

Do you have pictures of your D'Uccle mixes?

Just a few. Excuse the horrible quality.

These two are somewhere around 50% D'uccle. I think I deduced the right one to otherwise have equal parts of OEGB/Serama/D'anvers, but the left girl is just D'u/D'a.

This boy is a royal mix of D'uccle/D'anvers/Serama/OEGB/Cochin Remind me to get a full-body pic of him sometime.

The other 20+....hmmm, that means trudging outside and individually bringing them in.

No white bantams. Just another lavender and a lighter colored one that has no actual color type. I’ll be sure to post more pics as they grow so we can find out who layed what
