Babies are active and wandering the bator. Now there are two blue d'Anvers and two bantam Buckeyes.

I'm still trying to figure out what I have to wear that doesn't look like everyone else, but isn't too nice for a swap

I just came on to realize I had a lot to catch up! I hope ya'll have fun at the swap! I wish they had that type of thing around here, but the most we get is a sort of mini-swap at TSC (never been though, I always find out too late)

Were you hoping for solid blue?

Yes. I paired what I hoped is a lavender splash with a black, and some blacks with her progeny, hopefully a lavender blue. However, he was produced with a porcelain rooster.
And some of the blacks may be split to lavender, from her or the porcelain making me worried she may only be lavender blue. (This is why you never cross blue and lavender, causes problems in the future.)
So now these hens, of whom I just found out are probably split to lavender, plus a lavender or lavender blue cock, produced what looks like for lavenders. Which is legit, considering this crossing may produce fifty percent this color, if only I knew.
And the mother, sweetest and most beautiful bird I own, is an egg eater. Swapped cages to figure out which of the two hens paired with Jackson was the culprit. So now she's with the lavender -not helpful at all- and we are figuring out when to carve out time to fix her ways. Unsuccessful...
So, the d'Anvers love triangle is very, very twisted and unpredictable as you can see.

No. I have several chicken shirts but they're on the rude side

I think I've settled to wear blue jeans paired with a black longsleeve teeshirt with a green jacket. If I do, I'll send a pic of the jacket since it's easier to recognize when you've seen it. I'm 5 foot 7in and wear glasses.
