Guys im supposed to be reading a play but is sooooooo boring

The musical I'm in is really bad. But then I got pneumonia and missed a lot of the rehearsals, so maybe I don't have to be in it?

It's not the acting I hate, even though the plot is bad. It's the fact I can't sing or dance, especially the latter.

Someone on the cast even told me I was bad at dancing. -_- gee thanks, I was actually convincing myself otherwise for a while and actually trying.

The problem is the other person who plays the part (because they are split) is sick too, but she's always sick, so that doesn't count, right? Plus she was throwing up. Didn't even have the flu.

Then my director pulled me to the side and told me about the fact the other person was sick, which I knew and also told me there were lots of other kids at school with pneumonia.
I knew that lots of kids had the flu but not pneumonia. I do not think my director knows what pneumonia is.
I also do not think, despite my hopes, that I can leave my part because of pneumonia.

Thank you. I think I can be better than I think even though I know I'm not very good and my self-esteem is deflated. I think I might survive.

They will, but I think she wants me back in a week when I am healed. I think she knows I know my part and so I can not dissolve into the shadows, even though the show is next week at there is another person with the part and two nights. Why do I have to be so good at what I do?
