View attachment 1715543 most people don't know this breed exits, but I'm sure my bantam Buckeyes are a lot more "rare," but I can't be selling them for 100 dollars!
Truth is, every egg is so valuable the only ones I'm selling are going to be some juveniles once I find next years brood stock.
Also at the local swap I might donate a pair and some chicks for the 4-H fundraiser. Will help spread the wealth in case anything happens to my birds. Also some eggs will be donated to the 4-H hatch so we can get them in the hands of 4-Hers.
(Yup I'm puffed up ans proud as a rooster about my bantam Buckeyes, I know.)

I'd actually rather sell them for less to make sure they get to people. I'm not here for the money, because I actually want to see some people putting time in the breed.
That's how I feel about my D'Uccles. They may be a common breed, but quality is hard to come by.

I love blue d'Anvers, but I don't take pride in mine, because I'm pretty sure all the "blues" that hatched are lavender. :p
Luna who produces the most, -expressing splash under lavender- is an egg-eater. Preventing me from collecting her precious eggs.
