I think it would perfectly possible for you to have them, Octavia. I used to have them, even here in ND. It's got down to -30F without the windchill.
Yeah, we have horrible winters here. I hate them - A LOT!

Edited to add: I can't wait to move to Israel! ;) Weather's better over there! :)
