Today I'm making the final decisions on which Muscovies I'm going to save as breeders and which ones I'm going to butcher.
I'll try to get some pics soon! Stay tuned! :)
What colors do you think you'll be breeding next year? I'm still considering getting some eggs or ducklings from you so I can raise them for meat birds for a friend.

I'm mostly focusing on solid chocolate and several different shades of blue fawn next year. Oh, plus I'm going to do some experimenting with this other color I hatched out this year. I'm still not 100% sure which color is yet.

Here are the ones that are getting butchered.
We're going to butcher them tomorrow. There are 37 of them. We are going to butcher some chickens tomorrow, too.

Here some of the ones I'm saving. These are the young ones. The old ones aren't pictured here. Sorry, these aren't the greatest pics. I was in a hurry, and after being chased around all day, the ducks wouldn't let me get close enough to them to take good pics. I'll get better pics of them in the future, that's for sure. I also think it's easier to take better pics when the sun is starting to go down, and it's not leaving a weird glare in the pics.
