When I came up to her after class and told her it’s not true stating that their are brown chickens that lay white eggs and white chickens that lay brown eggs. She said they must be mixed breeds.

It was, actually. I thoroughly enjoy my animal science class. It's a direct confirmation that my knowledge of poultry is indeed correct and I know what I'm talking about.

Only thing she taught wrong was that Coccidiosis is a parasite not a protozoa. I told her it was a protozoa and she didn't have much to say about that.

Perhaps you should give her the URL for one of the hatcheries. Meyer has a very good one. If she doesn't figure out what color hen lays what color egg from that, she needs a new job. I wonder what other "alternative facts" she is teaching. Is there ANY all white chicken besides a White Leghorn that lays a white egg?

Hopefully she looked it up and will correct herself in the next class. A good educator spends their life learning.
