Nah not unreasonable to me!Eek...
Just put my hens to bed when I saw one of my 6-month-olds, Jessie, outside. I was kind of suspicious because all of the chickens were inside and roosting (Or sitting on a tin can- Gracie). I looked at her and saw her crop was pretty big- full of... stuff? (Even though no free-ranging today) . It was hard and from a distance, you could notice the bump. She was totally fine- running around to occasionally stop and do that-adjusting-crop move. Brought her inside to feed her some olive oil (edit: and then returned to the coop), but now I'm kinda worried about a crop issue- or specifically a pendulous crop. I believe one of my past buff orps, Greta (RIP 2017- she was eight- meaning I'd had her for more than half my life xD) had a pendulous crop because her crop hung lower as she aged and lots of crop issues. Worried that my little nugget has some crop issues.
Lol am I being unreasonable? I'm so protected of the young ones.
Kayla.... had to go to the postal distro center to get turkeys... But here they are in their temp brooder.
