It's a sad day at our house. DD lost her best hen, who happened to be the family favorite and our very best broody. She wasn't sick. She wasn't old. She wasn't injured. She wasn't acting funny or off her feed. We went to feed and lock everyone in and she was quietly "gone" in her nest box. RIP sweet Pepper. We will miss you.
