I got 2 eggs today (from my 2 red sex links, Maddie & Opal)

And since I didn’t quite make it to going to the feed-store, here’s what I got today!

I never saw this until now, sorry! What’re your goals? Are you planning on shipping/selling birds and/or eggs?

As a general rule, I don't want to invite inspections. It changes the nature of my exemptions and my legal protection. That said, I can get $60/doz hatching eggs vice $3.00/doz. The $5.00/doz market is here, but I haven't found it. Same with the $60/turkey market.

I’m wanting to get some quail AND show quality silkie hatching eggs. I’ve gotten a resource for the quail (and plan on getting the eggs soon) but I’m thinking I’d need to order the SQ silkie eggs?

I soooo want to do quail and rabbets but it opens me up to inspections I just don't want to deal with. Law is sooooo confusing and intrigret.

I think my biggest problem is I'm embarrassed. When I bought the farm, plan was to pay someone to clear 40 or so acres. I have no idea what i'm doing and don't have the equipment..

Agreed. But, if you don't feel comfortable with inspections, you don't have to join.
