These are from Welp. They are part of a huge international program and have access to all the various strains and are happy to send out such a small order (80 birds). They also supply the pro's who buy 1000 birds a week.

I have an order for 10 ducks, but he's going to have to wait for spring. Pretty much all the hatcheries are done with jumbo pekins and I really don't want to be processing them out doors in January. Once these guys are in the freezer, I'll do the turkeys the next week end and the processing equipment will go to the barn for the winter.

You must do a lot of processing each year! You sound busy!!

This year has been slow for a lot of reasons, mostly $$s or lack there of... I processed a bunch of cockerels this spring and I'll process these guys once they're ready.

You're a very talented artist.
Thank you rjohns39! I want to become NPIP certified, but in Alabama, every bird has to be tested and over 16 weeks! :barnie
