I hope your head feels better!I'm surviving... lol. The hens are liking this nice, fall, low 60*Fs weather a lot.
Good! How’s your flock? How’s everyone doing today?
Wonderful! My flock is doing great!Good! How’s your flock?
Good to hear!Wonderful! My flock is doing great!
Why of course you can join! Wonderful flock!! Have a great day!!Can I join in? I have 28 chicks from 6 weeks to 9 weeks, a flock of 19 laying hens, 2 mastiffs and a cat. I will be keeping a frizzled and a smooth tolbunt Polish, I have a frizzled hen tolbunt I'm selling. I have a black crested white Polish frizzle hen, a black frizzle hen, 4 GLP, and blues. I bought the eggs to hatch with the idea that I would keep the best and sell the rest, so I'm waiting until they mature and I can be sure of who's who.
Eight of the chicken are light Brahma, and 4 are Welsummer, 3 are EE. There is a place near me that takes in unwanted roos, so I will be bringing my roos there. Right now I live in town, so I really have to sell the chicks. I sell fresh eggs too, so it helps with the cost, but I have a mean hen I want to rehome.
I hope you all have a great night!
Yup! Mrs. Big Heifer is molting!Good mornin' peeps! As of today, we got three hens mid molt. One with not much neck feathers and two with no tail.Winter approaches fast here so I always tell my birds to molt now when it's 60*F vs 30*F. Has any chook started to molt yet for you guys?
