Update!
Two of my birds, Nancy (1 month old) and Rose (3 months old) are training to be therapy chickens! They’ve already got the basics down and even come to a call. They’re not scared/timid around humans at all!

I remember those days... I was too immature when I graduated HS to go to college so didn't do well the first time around, plus there were 13 girls to every guy on campus... Too many distractions. I went back to school when I got stationed in Germany and managed to knock out almost two degrees in a little over two years. University of Maryland, I was a CS major and Embry-Riddle I was an Aeronautics major. Figured which ever one would get me to the piece of paper first would win. In the end it was riddle. One day I'll tell you the story of my last class... Let's just say it was creative and event full. But in the end I managed to graduate with a 4.0 GPA.

Well, with those distractions I’m surprised!! Here there’s so many guys and it’s not like they don’t ask me, I’m just more interested in getting good grades than well you know the rest.... :gig

Second time around was way different, and more importantly I was paying for the classes. I worked the midnight shift, so I'd get off at about 8, grab some breakfast at the NCO club and go home and go to sleep. DW would wake me up at 2:00 and 2:00-5:00 was family time. Mon-Thu I went to school at 5:00. I got out of class generally around 8:30 and would go to the bowling alley to do my homework and eat dinner. Finish up and off to work about 11:00. Then just do it again.

Yeah... you’d better be glad you decided to “straighten up”...
My older sister is actually going to college right now, she’s doing pretty well as of now

What was really interesting about it was the deployments. We went to Spain a lot as they had better flying weather. So the universities synchronized classes in both locations. The registrar would take care of all the logistics so when I deployed to Spain I just showed up at class there. There were occasions when my Mon/Wed class was on Tue/thu and vice versa but it all worked out. Although, I'm sure the instructors in Spain had a different view of me than those in Germany... I always went to class in Germany in a freshly pressed uniform with highly polished boots (night shift). In Spain, I worked Day shift and showed up for class smelly, dirty and generally covered in grease... I was an aircraft mechanic.
