The new pullets aren't laying yet, and the mature adults aren't happy with this weather and their molt. The new ones should start in a couple weeks.

That’s good! My pullets (3 pullets) will *hopefully* be laying by time spring comes, maybe sooner! The new pullets aren't laying yet, and the mature adults aren't happy with this weather and their molt. The new ones should start in a couple weeks.
Nice! Rose is 13 weeks old today, so she may (or very well may not) lau this fall/winterI have some that should start this fall and others who should start in the spring.
Same here! My uncle just lost one of his 3 turkey hens, so he’s left with a trio (2 hens, 1 Tom). He’s already asked if I’d incubated turkey eggs for him this spring!I do really enjoy seeing the yard and pasture cluttered with roaming chickens. One of my Toms decided he wanted to roam today, so he's out and about. Just hope the wild girls don't come flirting again...

So sorry! I’m either going to hatch my uncle’s eggs or order hatching eggs, maybe both!Hope you have better luck than I did... Two of my boys didn't get the job done, couldn't get the right starter feed and just had terrible luck this year. Hopefully this spring I'll be able to afford to either drive and get it or have it shipped in.
