How’re you this breezy, cold, morning Ellie?
Pretty nice. We usually don't get a FOOT of snow in November- usually just dustings/less than 6 inches or nice fluffy flakes (they looks so pretty and easy to shovel). In December, a foot isn't uncommon, it's usually just extremely cold. January and February, and even March are when we get 2ft a night or even 3ft in a day. Very unusual.

I just cleaned out the chick brooder, and when I put the feed back in the first thing they did was scratch it out! :barnie:lau
That's what they do. Only birds that don't are the meat birds. For them, if it lands on the ground it's just gone.
