Pretty nice. We usually don't get a FOOT of snow in November- usually just dustings/less than 6 inches or nice fluffy flakes (they looks so pretty and easy to shovel). In December, a foot isn't uncommon, it's usually just extremely cold. January and February, and even March are when we get 2ft a night or even 3ft in a day. Very unusual.

I just cleaned out the chick brooder, and when I put the feed back in the first thing they did was scratch it out!

That's what they do. Only birds that don't are the meat birds. For them, if it lands on the ground it's just gone.
