How’s the flock?
They’re doing great!

Things that got done/changed today:

I moved the chicks outside (3 weeks old)
I deep-cleaned all the waterers
I have decided how re-doing my flock is going to go (I’ll make another post about this later)

Lots of changes! What’s the flock going to look like soon?

Lots and lots of changes! I’ll be taking 50% of the birds to the auction next week and the other 50% the next. Opal and Maddie are the lucky 2 I chose to stay here. As you know, I’ll be getting/hatching quail chicks in the spring. Come January, I *MIGHT* order 3 chicks, but that’s a huge maybe.

So to total off everything, the Flock is going to be tiny soon.

Ok, Todd is mad at me... I walked out on the deck without him and found a opossum in the front yard. Grabbed the .22 and then couldn't get him into my sights. When I came back in he was very adamant that it was his job to chase varmints. No, not gonna let him take out my deck rail and jump 7+ feet to the ground to chase a critter. No telling what would get broken in that situation.

Hehe yep! I have to go let the chicks back out in the coop in a few minutes (they come in at night) and fix the pictures of them so you all can see them.

Here’s the pictures, now fixed. They hated it at first but now they love it. I had to bring them in last night to ensure my neighbor’s dogs wouldn’t mess with them.
