That’s wonderful! I’ve never lost a bird to a predator... ever! Maybe it’s because of my awesome cats who keep away ALL the snakes and other varmits?

Must be, or the chicken keeper is just better at it than I am. I've always got a few birds that refuse to go into their shelters at night. Those are always at high risk until the sun comes up. And I've lost some to fox and coyote during the day. I think that's the price of letting them free range. Adding Todd has changed that.

Maybe one day I’ll get a bigger dog. But I’m happy with my 2, technically 4. Todd seems like a doll, he’s a good boy!
