Okay, I’m here to break this dry spell while we wait on the young uns.

I’m anxiously awaiting being able to hatch my own and I’ve been reading about it. Imagine that. :idunno Annnyway, what kind of special nutrition am I supposed to provide the hens so there’s no vitamin/mineral deficiency in the chicks? To be specific riboflavin, pantothenic acid, B12, biotin, choline and manganese.

I am not hatching anything special, well to anyone else that is, no show birds, no breeders. They’ll just be my baby birds. :celebrate So, I’m actually wondering, as long as they have always been on a good feed (Purina +Omega 3 Layer or Purina Flock Raiser), and free range with minimal treats, will their vitamin/mineral levels be adequate enough to ensure good levels in the chicks?

This inquiring mind wants to know. And thank you. :bow
