Chickens are easy, they mostly take care of themselves. It take me about an hour to an hour and a half a day to feed and water everything, that's with me being kinda slow at it. Costs about 150-200 a month to feed everything. It does keep me busy, and gets me outside and moving. I have a wonderful husband who helps and makes the money. Good thing he adores me.
Dog expenses of course are included in that amount. I used to smoke. When I quit I converted cigarette money to critter feed. I also don't spend money on girly things like clothes, hair, and all that other junk. Nothing fashionably in my wardrobe.
Eventually I will downsize, eventually.
