Of course not! Anyone is welcome! The more the better! :D

Welcome! What do you have for animals?

:D

Well....I did have around 50 chickens, but have now downsized to around 40 or less. On top of that we have pigs, horses, dogs, cats, ducks, turkeys, fish, rats, parrots & geese (soon), roaming cattle, and wallabys/joeys...I think thats all of them...

I let Gator outside earlier and he came upstairs to get me then sniffed all the rooms (my moms room usually has good stuff lol) and ran downstairs when I said walk. Although I did have to say almost every word he knew and say walk several times before he was convinced cause we’ve lied to him a lot but he did perk up then ran down. Took even more convincing and more repeating walk to get him to the basement (shorter rope there and not near neighbors, yards not fenced) but he finally ran down the stairs. Anyway, he was outside for like half an hour or an hour earlier and came inside when he was ready and when he was ready, he pawed the screen like a good boy and when he came in, he gave the cat a little chase (twice actually), then found his bully stick under the couch (I got it for him when I realized he was standing by the couch acting kind of playful and that was probably also why he chased the cat under the table the second time) and once he had it, he trotted over and like LEAPED on the couch and started happily chewing. Then I walked over to bring him his pillow and he leaped off and ran upstairs when I went up and laid down in the porch room and started chewing it again. Like I said, good days and bad days. I think the fresh air does him good too and the cold air (it’s pretty cold tonight and he’s usually more active in winter) plus of course the steroids. I think he might also be bored because he really doesn’t go on walks or do anything and he LOVES car rides and gets so excited. Maybe he just needs to be outside more often and/or taken on walks, even if it’s on our own property. Idk.

Oh wow you have a regular zoo over there! Lol sounds like my kind of place!!

I want horses, goats, ducks, parrots (parakeets or cockatiel or possibly a GCC or a grey one day), rats and/or mice, gerbils, guinea pigs, hamsters, more fish, some sort of reptile (corn snake, bearded dragon, leopard gecko and/or crested gecko), rabbits, more chickens, more cats, more dogs, and possibly turtles and yeah lol my whole family hates rodents and reptiles though so that's definitely a no go until I move out aha

Gator had to go out again to pee and came back in extremely playful and full of beans lol even did a little mini run to a toy and also tore the stuffing out of his pillow lol I think the cold air helps.

He is extremely thirsty though and panting a lot. I stopped him from drinking out of a bowl before he came in. Maybe cruel? But he had literally just drunken a ton before he went out and he was only out a few minutes. He did follow a scent/sniffed all over though but still. He is more thirsty on the steroids but I don't want him to get up at like 2 or something. He's also barking a lot and annoying us lol

But I think there's something out there because of the sniffing he did but still annoying at bedtime lol but honestly I'd take annoying Gator trying to do his job over lethargic Gator any day

Steroids make them drink and pee a lot. I guess I missed why he's on them?

Yeah, he just drank again. Annoying how much he drinks and pees.

And I'm not really sure, my dad asked and he put him back on them?

He did have something up with his eye though hence the eye ointment but yeah, idk.

Thank you but he is a she :p Luna.

And right!? They look even bigger in person lol I love watching them too though and they have their own personalities.

No, no, don't be sorry! I just figured I'd tag since you said you don't always get post notifications lately. :) have fun!

He's only 6 :( but he's a large/giant breed, Black Lab/Great Pyrenees mix.

Oh and the worst part/what I think will be the determining factor is he can't even do his job anymore or barely. He's a house pet but has always taken it upon himself to protect the chickens and warn of predators despite not getting them until he was 3, as well as alerting to people on the property, etc. But now sometimes he doesn't even hear or know predators are out there or people, even delivery trucks, are on the property which is sad. He notices if he's outside or we wake him up or notices on his own too late or occassionally on time but he misses a lot. And he always considered that his job so I think it makes him sad he's failing and/or scared cause he can't hear and wants to be close all the time.

Nope, that's ME. :p

But that's true. I was wondering why you said we were neighbors though lol figured you were in another New England state at first.

Aw that must be sad for him. I had friends who had Pyrenees they were huge And gentle. And loved hearding her kids lol :love

Yeah it is :( although tonight he's doing his job annoyingly well lol

He doesn't really herd but does love kids lol

And I brought him in the living room so he shuts up

Yep, I guess you could call it a mini zoo. :D

Thats a wide range of animals! I think rodents are pretty cool, though I know quite a few people that hate them, but I honestly think they are adorable. (Probably sounds weird..)

....Ferrets are adorable as well.

We did have a pet snake (python), however he escaped and comes and goes, he came back recently and caught/ate a wild rat. He also ate one of my prize roosters, so I have mixed feelings about him.
