I think they would be fine outside with a heat source (preferably not a heat lamp). I put a group of 2-month-old silkies outside last night with a sweeter heater. Yesterday it was 25/30 degrees. I check on them regularly to make sure they're okay. So far so good. Chickens are hardier than we think.
