Hello iam new to own ducks and i was wondering what are some good ways to keep the smell down and dry in there habitat and what is DE thank u

DE is diatomaceous earth. With DE I really did not notice any odor control. It does help with killing mites and crawling bugs.
I just keep my duck house cleaned out. I have 17 ducks in a 71 sq. foot house and clean it every 4 or 5 days. For their water I put it on a platform made from a screen with a tub under it to catch the water.
I have tried Sweet PDZ in the house but that really did not work for me either. It does work for horse stalls were where you clean the urine out daily just not my duck house.

If you use wood stove pellets for the bedding will last longer. I have shavings in my duck house now that's why I get about 4 or 5 days in between cleaning.

Ducks like water, you have to manage their water to have a chance at keeping the brooder dry.

How many birds are in your brooder?
How old?
How often do you clean it?
