Was looking around for info on dealing with chicks and found this place. Haven't dealt with chicks before so..... Anyway lots of good info here so I guess we'll be staying for a spell. Well a bit about us.

Living in: Canyon County, Idapimp (sry I ain't no hoe lol, I'm more of a weed wacker)

Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Ya for the most part. Other than living on a farm with them for a few years, but it was a "let nature do it's thing" kinda place.

How many chickens do you have right now? 0 atm, but 8 chicks next week.

What breeds do you have? Buff Orpingtons are what we're getting.

How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? Google

What are some of your other hobbies? Gardening, Pygmy Goats, and loafing.

Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. 2 kids, a better half, 2 dogs(cross-eyed mutt & a woof), and 2 pygmy goats. Glass/Tattoo Artist/Mr. Mom/Elementary Teacher(We home school our kids). She's a prep cook at a trendy north end pub. Just trying to enjoy life to the best of our ability.
