Keeping chickens and quails apart

Hello everyone, we're new to chickens and quails. We're keeping our quail in a handy tractor moved daily over our lawn. Our 3 chickens are free range and our 8 incubated chicks are still in a halfway coop. We're very pleased to join and looking forward to sharing the chook love from downunder.

Awesome. Actually, I've now been told not to move my quails regularly as they don't like to move much. Any thoughts? Is anyone keeping quails in tractors as well? Should they be kept in one spot?

You should move the tractor occasionally so they aren't on too much waste and and new ground to explore. :)
