Keeping chickens and rabbits together??

A few month later the rabbit lost the use of her back legs and had to be put down.  While I don't know what happened, I suspect she broke her back or picked up a disease from being on the ground.

Our free ranging rabbit also lost the use of his back legs. Still not sure what happened, but hearing that it could be a case of E. Cuniculi, a protozoan-parasite-type-thing, we gave him a dose or two of Ivermectin. He made a miraculous recovery and he's been fine since. Not sure whether it was an answer to prayer or the Ivermectin.
