Keeping chickens away from the garden ?

I put up a stretch of chicken wire all around my garden, and the chickens just don't even try to get in. They spent a fair amount of time looking longingly at it though. When I started to put the waddling fence on it, they lost interest entirely. this is what it looks like, it's a work in progress, but, you get the idea.

that's something i was thinking about but using bird netting.. but they might get tangled in them

i have to move the planters away from their forage area
